According to Trimble, this product is the answer to the ever-increasing demand for an open platform with extensive support features. With this solution the telematics manufacturer offers apps from reviewed third-party providers, while the devices are entirely and exclusively managed by Trimble (hall 11, booth A11) itself. In addition, the android app grants the driver access to other apps without compromising the functions of fleet management. The device replaces the Linux-based FleetXPS on-board computer. Next to the tablet stands a revised user interface for FleetXPS app – an android application that enables drivers to carry out logistical tasks and activities via tablet.
